Project Overview

What we were asked to solve

A financial product had grown feature by feature until each screen followed different rules, and onboarding lost users before their first transaction.

We audited the journeys, redesigned onboarding and payments around a smaller number of decisions per screen, then packaged everything into a reusable design system.

The challenge

  • Inconsistent components across screens built by different teams.
  • A long verification flow with unclear progress and error handling.
  • Accessibility issues in colour contrast and touch target sizing.

Our solution

  • A UX audit combining analytics review, heuristic evaluation and user testing.
  • Redesigned onboarding with stepwise progress, inline validation and recovery paths.
  • A Figma library with tokens, components, states and usage documentation.
  • Accessibility rules applied to contrast, focus states and target sizes.
